Currently the council has 23 elected members, each representing a different population within the Eller College of Management.
Pam Perry is the Interim Associate Dean, Eller MBA Programs. She is responsible for Eller MBA academic and student services including professional development and placement. As a member of the Eller administration for 26 years, Perry reorganized the undergraduate curriculum into cohorts, improved academic advising services and has provided leadership that supports a philosophy for continuous improvement. She is committed to student development through her efforts to enhance student community within the College.
Patrick is a Senior majoring in Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurship. His hometown is San Diego, California, and some of his hobbies include surfing, hiking, golfing, and spearfishing. His role on the council is to facilitate the faculty awards program and he is also in the Eller Professional Sales Club.
Becca is Senior majoring in Business Economics and Marketing and started out as an Eller Emerging Leader her freshman year. After that, she moved on to become a Peer Academic Leader, a founding member for this council, and is currently acting as the founding president of the Women in Economics Club.
VP of Finance
Daniela is a Junior majoring in Business Management and Business Economics. She is an Advisory Chairwoman of the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), and an Active Member of the Eller Transfer Ambassadors (ETA). In addition, Daniela is a Preceptor for Career Management in Business and a Front Desk receptionist. Through her involvement, her goal is to support Diversity & Inclusion in and outside the Eller College.
Spencer is an Honors Junior with a prospective triple major in Finance, Management, and Entrepreneurship. He is involved with his fraternity Delta Sigma Pi and was previously involved with the sophomore honorary, SOPHOS. Additionally, he is a University of Arizona cheerleader and is passionate about the U of A.
VP of Faculty Awards
Kameron Shute is a Senior majoring in MIS from San Jose, California. Last school year, he was the Student Coordinator for the Eller Expo and the Eller Career Showcase. In addition to being in Dean's Council, Kameron serves as the FESO Representative for Alpha Kappa Psi and works as a Peer Educator in the Office of Student Engagement and Career Development. In Kameron's free time, he can be found mountain biking, rock climbing, traveling, playing golf, or spending time with friends.
VP of Information Technology
Tyler is a Senior Business Management major with a Global Business minor from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. In addition to Dean's Council, Tyler is the VP of Eller Expo & Career Showcase for Delta Sigma Pi, an Eller Ambassador, and works on-campus as the Front Desk Student Lead in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Tyler has also had the opportunity to participate in the Eller Global Cohort - Summer 2018, where he completed his first semester of Eller in Fortaleza, Brazil.
Claire Van Straalen
VP of Student Success
Claire is a Junior majoring in Marketing and is from Tucson, Arizona. When she's not munching on French fries, you can find her in the Eller Leadership Board, Eller College Dean's Council, or working at the Disney Store. She enjoys going to Disneyland, attending football games, and ballroom dancing.
VP of External Affairs
Kelly Hart is a South African Junior studying at The University of Arizona with a prospective double major in Marketing and Communication. She is involved with her professional fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi as well as A Moment of Magic, an organization geared towards brightening the lives of children with cancer or terminal illness. When she’s not working, studying, or volunteering, Kelly loves to do hot yoga, go hiking and of course, hang out with her friends, family, and her doggos!
VP of Internal Relations
Tyler is a Senior at the Eller College of Management and is majoring in Accounting. She is proud of her various involvements within Eller such as being the Accounting Representative for Dean's Council, an Eller Ambassador, an Eller Front Desk Assistant, and she is on the University of Arizona Triathlon team.
VP of Career Showcase
Ziah is a Junior majoring in Accounting from Waddell, Arizona. She is involved in Residence life as an RA, works at the University Libraries, and currently serves as the Eller Student Diversity Coordinator. Her role in Eller College Dean CounciI is the Student Coordinator for the Eller Expo and the Eller Career Showcase. In her free time, she loves going to UA volleyball and ice hockey games!
Camden is the President of the Consulting Club and a Professional Development Associate here at Eller, and is triple majoring in Economics, MIS, and Operations Management. He also works as a Consultant for the Retail Innovation Lab and is involved in Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity. Outside of school, Camden likes playing basketball and taking longs walks on the beach.
VP of Internal Relations
Dalton is originally from Tucson, Arizona and he is a Junior intending to major in Business Management. He is involved in his fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon and previously the sophomore honorary SMORES. In addition, he is a member of the Eller Leadership Board and is on the Membership committee.
VP of Be Heard Week
Anthony, a.k.a. Aj, is a Junior representative from Dublin, California and he hopes to help Eller ensure the pre-business students are accounted for and make their experience worthwhile. Aj is also a board member for EAAH and runs University of Arizona's competitive club golf team. On his off days, he enjoys an açaí bowl while watching old golf video clips.
VP of Alumni Relations
Jacqueline is a freshman at the University of Arizona planning to double major in Finance and Accounting. She is a part-time Client Associate at Merrill Lynch and enjoys participating in Investments Club, Eller College Dean's Council, and Pi Beta Phi.
Hannah is a Junior at the Eller College of Management majoring in Marketing and Management Information Systems. She is a Tucson native and currently works at the University of Arizona library. Hannah is also a preceptor for BNAD 200 where she helps mentor pre-business freshman. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at nonprofits or playing Dungeons & Dragons.
Nick is an Honors Junior majoring in Finance and Business Economics with a minor in Spanish. In addition to Dean's Council, he is also involved in the Eller Hispanic Honorary and is a proud member of the Wall Street Scholars Program. In his free time, Nick likes to play the ukulele, listen to his record player, and spend time with friends and family.
Grace is an Honors Senior majoring in Accounting and Management Information Systems. She enjoys being involved in Eller as a preceptor for BCOM 314 and experience on the Cohort Advisory Board, in addition to Dean’s Council. When she’s not at Eller, Grace loves hiking and being outside and is always watching Disney movies.
